Introduction
Finding a job has been a challenge for me, especially since I'm not yet confident in working outside my state. Right now, my focus is on getting a minimum wage job while also working on making my website, RafungNewz, a successful and monetized platform.
I’ve been applying to different jobs, from warehouses and factories to retail stores, but so far, I haven’t secured a position. At the same time, I’m creating content for my news and infotainment website, hoping to build a brand, gain viewers, and generate income through affiliate marketing.
Job Search Experience
1. Applying for Store Jobs
One of the first jobs I applied for was at Speedmart99. I thought it would be a good fit, but unfortunately, they never followed up after I applied.
2. Factory Operator Jobs
I also tried applying for a factory operator position. So far, I haven’t received a response, but hopefully, by the time I write this, they will call me back.
3. J&T Storekeeper Interview
Recently, I managed to get an interview at J&T as a storekeeper. However, they told me that the position also required me to work as a delivery rider, which my parents were not comfortable with. Because of that, I had to decline the offer.
Building RafungNewz as a Brand
While waiting for job opportunities, I’m putting more effort into RafungNewz, my website where I upload both written and video infotainment content. My goal is to:
✔ Gain viewers and build a loyal audience
✔ Monetize the website through ads and affiliate marketing
✔ Create engaging news and infotainment content
I believe that if I can grow my website, it could become a source of income and even a full-time career in the future.
My Goals Moving Forward
- Secure a job – Even if it’s minimum wage, I need a stable income to support myself.
- Continue growing RafungNewz – More content means more potential viewers and monetization.
- Improve my skills – Whether it's writing, video editing, or online marketing, I want to develop valuable skills that can help me in the long run.
I know the journey won’t be easy, but I’m determined to keep pushing forward and exploring different opportunities.
